Ford has released a sketch of its new mid-sized 4x4, and a name: Kuga
Ford is reviving an old name - but with a new spelling - for its first European 4x4. The Kuga will appear at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and it's the latest model to feature Ford’s ‘kinetic design’ language. The look has been pioneered by Ford Europe’s executive design director Martin Smith, and it was first seen on the Iosis concept that previewed the current Mondeo.
We’ll get to see the new Lexus IS 300h at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show together with an Opal Blue LF-CC and extended F Sport range. Probably of most interest – because we’ve not seen it in Europe yet, is the new Lexus IS 300h, the hybrid version of the 2013 Lexus IS – revealed at Detroit last month – which Lexus hope will pick up sales from the diesel competition. Lexus will be adding the F Sport trim to the IS 300h too to show that their cars can look as dynamic as those from Audi’s S Line, Mercedes’ AMG or BMW’s M Sport which, with an expected output of around 220bhp from the electric motor and 2.5 litre engine, isn’t all that incongruous.
The Lexus LF-A - a V10 Supercar - has been revealed in Tokyo
Until Lexus announced it was bringing a Supercar to Tokyo, that is. After four years of waiting and endless spy shots of the LF-A pounding round the Nurburgring we finally see the official reveal of the Lexus LF-A. A glorious 4.8 litre V10 Supercar with 552bhp, 354lbs/ft of torque, a 9,000 rpm redline, a six-speed sequential ‘box, a 0-60mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of over 200mph.
